Mariella Hudson is an Irish-Peruvian writer, director and performer. She wrote the screenplay for the 90-second film HEADSPACE, which was selected for Encounters Film Festival and Manchester Film Festival, and she is a former Film London EAN Connect mentee (2023). She loves working with actors and mentoring writers, running regular screenwriting workshops both independently and as a freelance tutor for organisations such as Underscore Studios. Her background includes directing for independent theatre and working as a freelance videographer for clients including The British Museum. She is currently in post-production for her first narrative short, LOVE EWE, and is co-writing a comedy short alongside her feature-length projects.

She has an MFA with Distinction in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
